We are proud and excited to welcome Belinda Liebenberg to the Style Bar team. Belinda has joined us as a full-time in-house brand, style and colour educator. She will be working across all 9 Style Bar salons. We cannot wait for her to start training and empowering our staff to constantly update their skills and techniques.

Belinda has a vast amount of experience in the industry. She started her journey way back in 1983 at Joubert Park Technical College in Johannesburg where she completed her study with a first-class pass. Liebenberg began working for Schwarzkopf at the age of 19 as a part-time trainer and continued up until 1990 when she left for London for further employment and training.

As time passed by Belinda made sure that the only place she could go was up. Along with some hairdressing competition trophies in Ladies and Gents Cutting, Gala and Avante Garde categories she also did training and education for some of the world’s leading brands, including Goldwell SA, Indola, and Schwarzkopf.

In 2009 Belinda was back at Schwarzkopf as Technical Assistant before making her way to becoming National Education Manager for Schwarzkopf and Indola.

With the help and assistance of both local and international trainers from the Benelux Countries, Belinda introduced Shaping Futures to South Africa, a social initiative and Skills, and Development programme sponsored by Henkel.

Belinda not only worked for some of the top brands in the game but also succeeded in obtaining her masters Colour Diploma. She then decided to move her focus towards cut and colour and began attending international training workshops on the latest cutting and colour techniques.

“For me personally there is no greater joy in life than to make someone feel beautiful and special as focusing on the education and growth of hair stylists.”, said Liebenberg.
